Committees​

Volunteer to help plan an event and assure success for all involved; typically a 3-6 month commitment with group meetings offering lots of opportunities to connect with fellow Chamber members. 

Membership

The Membership Committee oversees membership recruitment and retention, as well as maintains our event calendar, assuring interesting speakers and exciting events for our members. This committee also has the honor of serving as Ambassadors for new members and potential new members to our organization. The Membership Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 8:30AM. 

Public Service

The Public Service Committee was created in 2018 to assist the Chamber in selecting, coordinating, and conducting community service projects for members to participate in, enhancing our community. The Public Service Committee meets monthly at the Rocky River Chamber office. 

Taste of River

Help plan the annual Taste of River event! Every year the Chamber welcomes over 4,000 guests to our foodie festival for food, music, community and fun! Over 20 restaurants serve up their finest foods for all to enjoy, with entertainment and great drinks to top it off. The Taste Committee schedules meetings as needed throughout the year. 

Golf Outing

Help plan the annual Golf Outing event hosted at Avon Oaks Country Club. The event includes 18 holes of golf, drinks and games all day – along with a 19th Hole Reception featuring raffles, prizes and more. The Golf Committee schedules meetings as needed throughout the year. 

Business Expo

Help plan the annual Business Expo event! The Expo Committee schedules meetings as needed throughout the year. 

Christmas Party

Help plan the annual Christmas Party! The party welcomes members and guests for a night of festive fun featuring delicious food from local restaurants, an open bar, music, and a raffle full of bountiful prize baskets for guests to win! The Christmas Party Committee schedules meetings as needed throughout the year.
