The Rocky River Chamber Education Fund (RRCEF) supports the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce’s interest in stimulating youth experiences in business. With a goal to peak interest and strengthen skills in business-minded high school students in Rocky River, the RRCEF has offered unique experiences over the years.
Originally formed in the ‘90s – the RRCEF was created to provide scholarships to graduating Rocky River High School (RRHS) students with intentions of majoring in business in college. However, over time, the Fund has evolved to create more opportunities for high school students at not only RRHS, but also Lutheran West High School and Magnificat High School.
Throughout the year, the Chamber strives to raise funds for the RREF. Specifically, the Chamber’s Libation Tour and Christmas Party are fundraisers in support of these endeavors; and the Chamber hosts 50/50 raffles at monthly luncheons to raise additional funds.
