This week’s New Member spotlight is CLEbaby, who joined the Chamber this October! 

CLEbaby, founded by Dr. Ashley Sova, offers professional support for pregnant and new families in Cleveland, Akron, and the surrounding suburbs. From bringing your baby into this world to helping you all sleep through the night, the specialist birth and postpartum doulas, sleep consultants, and childbirth educators at CLEbaby know the secrets to success.   

Ashley created CLEbaby after having her second child, recognizing that there was a need for locally-focused parenting services for expectant and new parents. They have supported over 500 families since inception through their in-home sleep training, private childbirth education classes, birth and postpartum doula support, overnight care, and more. CLEbaby’s team has over 90 years of combined experience working with babies and families, over 50 years of university education, and 25+ doula trainings completed.  

They continue to grow in the hope that much-needed support for new families becomes the standard rather than a luxury. CLEbaby has been called "life-changing," "like magic," and "the best decision ever." CLEbaby is changing the birth and postpartum experience for CLE families in a positive way, as well as giving back to the community. 

Ashely and her husband Steve moved their family to Rocky River in 2020 so that their three kids could attend the excellent school system and they could live in a walkable neighborhood near the water. As time has gone on, they have enjoyed experiencing all that the city has to offer. They are active in community leadership and learning opportunities, neighborhood planning, and volunteering for their kids' schools and extracurriculars. They’re excited to now grow and evolve their professional relationships within the River community by being members of the Chamber.
